THANK YOU for visiting the PINE MOUNTAIN THEATER. Did you know we have the distinction of being Arkansas' first and most attended family show? Thousands of families and groups from all over the United States, Canada and many other countries see one of over two hundred forty shows performed here each season. Since 1975, from March through mid December, these auditorium walls echo with great music, family comedy, laughter, applause and overall good times.

While here with us we encourage you to visit our Lobby Gift Shop, where you'll find an array of fine gifts and souvenirs. We have collectibles, jewelry, unique items, Eureka Springs and Arkansas souvenirs, books, cards, and more. Also included in our gift shop is a section dedicated to Arkansas made products. You'll find honey harvested right here in the Ozarks. Lady Eureka fine soaps and lotions are popular items created by Monda Clark of Eureka Springs and sold all over the United States in selected shops. Uncle Jim's Soaps and Cavender's Greek Seasoning are a must for any home. You can also take home non-alcoholic grape juice from one of Arkansas' wineries and Buffalo meat snacks raised here in the Natural State. If you want show souvenirs we offer tee shirts, caps, and a variety of music recorded by our performers and available on c.d.

Our Snack bar features FREE "All You Can Eat" Pine Mountain Popcorn. In addition to the free popcorn most folks can't resist purchasing a handful of our cookies, baked fresh daily. We also have a variety of soft drinks, candy and snacks. What's a GREAT show without GREAT munchies?!?!?!?!

A Little History

Seeing the need for nightly entertainment to accommodate the increasing number of visitors to the city and to compliment the wholesome family offering of the Great Passion Play, Dave and Dee Drennon moved from Missouri to Eureka Springs and opened the PINE MOUNTAIN THEATER in July, 1975. They assembled a cast and produced a show that quickly gained favor with Eureka Springs vacationers. As their reputation spread, more and more people came to Eureka Springs to see and hear this wonderful show. It wasn’t long before they had to enlarge the seating capacity due to sell out crowds, gaining them the recognition of being the "most attended family music show" in the state. The show the Drennon family produced was always first class, using state of the art technology and the talents of the best musicians found anywhere.

In 2005, after 31 consecutive seasons and thousands of shows for hundreds of thousands of people, Dave and Dee decided to retire. Their desire was to turn the theater over to someone that would continue the quality and professional level of entertainment that had been established through years of hard work, protecting the integrity of the PINE MOUNTAIN THEATER name. Opening night March 3, 2006 marked the beginning of a new era in Eureka Springs when Mike Bishop took over as emcee and producer of the popular entertainment attraction, and the tradition continues. The current cast and staff strive everyday to uphold the standards set by the Drennon family, and, by all accounts they are certainly measuring up.
